Hollande calls for larger coalition to combat ISIS
French president Francois Hollande called on Wednesday for a larger coalition to combat Islamic state.
“We should form a larger coalition to deal decisive blows against ISIS. We should do this in the spirit of an international community.”
I know the countries have different interest, conceptions and allies but what is at stake here is to put an end to an army that is threatening the whole world, not just some countries,” Hollande said in remarks to an assembly of the country’s majors, the BBC reported.
“I will lead, this is the mission I will take. France, thanks to its army will play a major role,” Hollande added.
