Russia ready to hold further talks with Ukraine
Russian officials said that they were ready to hold further talks with Ukraine but that it remained to be seen if Ukrainian officials would show up.
According to Reuters, Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, reportedly said that there were contradictions in the information regarding negotiations.
The day before, Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that Moscow must stop its bombing of Ukrainian cities before talks could continue.
Peskov reportedly also said that Russia needed to come up with a harsh, though-out and clear response to the measures imposed by the West in order to undermine the Russian economy.
A spokesperson for the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, later told Bloomberg that a second round of talks might take place on Wednesday.
