ShoreCap hails latest WHO situation update, labelling it 'significant positive'
Analysts at ShoreCap hailed the latest situation updates from the World Health Organisation on the 2019-nCov virus or so-called Wuhan coronavirus.
In particular, they highlighted the WHO's finding that transmission by infected persons not showing any symptoms was uncommon.
"This finding from the WHO is a very significant positive in our efforts to control the virus."
"All three reports (11-13) consistently show that the daily growth rate in new cases continues to moderate, the mortality rate of the virus stays notably low and the outbreak remains extremely concentrated," they added.
"Indeed, ex-China growth saw a material slowdown."
