Spanish industrial production August
Spanish industrial production declined by 1.4% month-on-month in August, more than reversing the previous month’s rise of 0.7%, data from the country's statistics office revealed.
In terms of year-on-year rates of change and in non-seasonally adjusted terms, Spanish factory output grew by 5%, down from the 6% clip seen in the prior month.
The largest drops were seen in the categories for energy and capital goods, which experienced declines of 5.6% and 2.7% over the month, respectively.
Motor vehicle production fell by 8.1%.
