UK economy grows 0.6% in three months to November, NIESR estimates
The UK economy grew 0.6% in the three months to November, according to the National Institute of Economic and Social Research on Tuesday.
The estimate on gross domestic product was unchanged from last month’s forecast for growth in the three months to October.
NIESR said the pace of growth puts the Bank of England on the path to raising interest rates in February. The BoE is expected to leave policy unchanged on Thursday, keeping interest rates at 0.5% and the asset purchase programme at £375bn.
