UK GDP accelerated slightly in the third quarter
Britain´s economy expanded by 0.6% quarter-on-quarter in the three months to October according to one of the country´s most prestigious think tanks.
That was up from the 0.5% seen over the previous three months, according to the National Institute of Econmic and Social Research.
"This implies that reasonable economic growth has continued into the fourth quarter of 2015," NIESR said.
The think-tank´s forecasts were calling for GDP growth of 2.4% and 2.3% in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
