Anglo's De Beers sees diamond sales rise amid good demand
Anglo American said on Tuesday that the value of rough diamond sales at De Beers rose in the fifth cycle amid good demand.

The value increased to $575m from $554m in the fourth cycle of the year and $541m in the fifth cycle of 2017.
De Beers chief executive officer Bruce Cleaver said: "Sentiment in the diamond industry's midstream is positive following the JCK Las Vegas trade show at the start of the month, and we continued to see good demand for our rough diamonds across the product range."
At 0850 BST, the shares were up 0.9% to 1,634.20p.
