In a trading update for the three months to December, AO said revenue from its website was up 35% year-on-year, with total UK revenue 24% higher on the year.
The company said it was pleased with the performance of the business through the Black Friday week, adding that customers are increasingly recognising the website as a destination thanks to a continued focus on customer awareness.
As far as the business in Germany is concerned, AO said the exit run rate revenue for December gives an annualised revenue of €77m (£57.8m), up from €61m in September.
AO added that its launch in the Netherlands remains on track for this spring.
Chief operating officer Steve Caunce said: “AO World continues to make progress on its long term plan; delivering sales growth across all categories and more customers enjoyed our excellent proposition.
“Looking ahead, we remain confident that we will deliver for the benefit of both our customers and our investors and remain on track to deliver our long term strategy."
