Closed-ended investment company Apax Global Alpha has made a €5.4m investment in ClearBank, one of the largest next-generation clearing and embedded banking platforms in the UK.

The FTSE 250-listed firm said it will leverage the experience of its Apax Digital Funds in both fintech and software to partner with ClearBank and help drive the business forward.
Apax added that the new investment would help accelerate ClearBank's global expansion of its clearing and embedded banking offering, initially in Europe before moving into North America and Asia Pacific.
