Rahman joined AstraZeneca’s board in June 2017. Her other jobs include heading the division of genetics and epidemiology at the Institute of Cancer Research, London, and the cancer genetics unit at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Astra-Zeneca’s website says she is also a singer-songwriter.

Sheri McCoy, the former boss of Avon Products and a Johnson & Johnson veteran, will join AstraZeneca’s remuneration committee on 1 July. McCoy has been on AstraZeneca’s board since October.
