BBA Aviation reshuffles board of directors
Nick Land has announced his intention to step down from the board of BBA Aviation in 2016, the aviation support and services group said.

Land, who is currently the chairman of BBA’s audit and risk committee and a senior independent director, joined the board of the FTSE 250 group in 2006, before being named committee chairman the following year and senior independent director in 2010.
In a statement released on Wednesday, BBA said Susan Kilsby, who has been a non-executive director for the last three years, will replace Land as senior independent director, while the Wayne Edmunds will be appointed chairman of the audit and risk committee.
“I am delighted that Susan and Wayne have agreed to take on increased responsibilities as our senior independent director and chairman of the audit and risk committee respectively,” said group chairman Nigel Rudd.
Separately, the group confirmed Peter Edwards, the former chief executive of aircraft services provider Jet Aviation, and Peter Ventress, the former chief executive of Berendsen, will join the company as non-executive directors from 1 January.
BBA shares were up 0.88% 194.80p at 0845 GMT on Wednesday.
