P&O extended its pause in operations for cruises departing from Brisbane and Sydney until 14 January and 18 January, respectively, in order to give guests greater confidence in planning their Christmas and New Year holidays due to the "uncertainty" around the return of cruising in the region.
P&O also confirmed it was cancelling its Melbourne summer season.
Princess extended its halt in cruise vacations in Australia and New Zealand to 27 January 27, with Coral Princess voyages through 17 January also cancelled and Royal Princess and Sapphire Princess seasons through to March 2022 also set be cancelled.
