The AIM-traded company said the latest release introduced generative artificial intelligence, known as ‘GenAI’.
It said GenAI would enable communications service provider (CSP) product managers to leverage natural language voice and text commands to describe their envisioned offerings.
It said that GenAI constructs the corresponding product catalogue configurations in seconds, streamlining the product development process for validation and market launch.
Cerillion said its existing single-product model, emphasising configuration over customisation, already offered CSPs’ technical teams significant flexibility.
The integration of GenAI now extended that flexibility to non-technical teams, facilitating their involvement in product creation while maintaining essential business controls for data integrity and revenue assurance.
Cerillion 23.2 also introduced several enhancements, including a new and upgraded sales engine, providing a fully configurable workflow based on an API-first architecture.
That, Cerillion said, would ensure consistent flexibility across all sales channels, whether through call centres, dealers, self-service portals, or mobile apps.
The improved CRM Plus dashboards allowed seamless data integration from third-party systems, enhancing data management capabilities.
Moreover, Cerillion said it was taking steps to enhance the end-customer experience through its mobile app.
Users could now share unused data or excess credit, promoting greater convenience and value for customers.
“The launch of Cerillion 23.2, the latest version of our flagship software suite, changes the face of business support and operations support systems, with its new generative AI capability that enables our customers to create, for the first time, new products and packages through natural language instructions,” said chief executive officer Louis Hall.
“This exciting development means that new products and packages can be launched with unprecedented speed. It also enables our customers’ non-technical teams to participate much more easily in building new offerings.
“We are delighted with this latest release of our product suite, which pushes the boundaries for the next generation of digital telcos.”
At 1425 GMT, shares in Cerillion were down 0.3% at 1,336p.
