The oesophageal Doppler monitoring (OMD) provider said its revenues in the UK declined 13% during the first half of the year and surgical probe revenues were down 25%, which was offset by early sales of new products.
However, the group launched new products and marketing campaigns which are anticipated to have an impact in sales during the second half of the year.
Its business in the US was trading stronger, with revenues up 28% at £0.6m.
Chairman Nigel Keen said: "We expect the financial returns from these successes to show through more strongly in the second half reducing the impact of the NHS on our business.
"In the second half of the year we expect increasing traction of the use of ODM in US hospitals and we will start to roll-out a series of new products to enhance our offering to clinicians."
In a separate statement, Deltex announced it has secured its first tender in Canada. Initially expected to be awarded last year, the group estimated the tender will generate revenues in the second half of the year.
