Ferrexpo shares down as total production decreases

Ferrexpo posted its third quarter production report on Wednesday, with production in the first nine months of 2016, of 65% Fe pellets, up 3.7% to 7.8 million tonnes.

The London-listed firm said 65% Fe premium pellets made up 94% of total production volumes in the year to date, compared to 87% of total production volume at the same point in 2015.

Total pellet production was down, however, to 8.3 million tonnes, from 8.7 million tonnes.

At 1142 BST, shares in Ferrexpo were down 2.19% to 78p.
