The company said the latest fieldwork targeted areas within licences 4034, 3135 and 3234, with 30 samples collected in total, 13 of which yielded notable results.

The Republic of Ireland block lies approximately 33km from the Galantas Omagh Gold Mine, which has just received planning permission to extend underground.

Follow-up work is now being planned, Galantas said.
