Grainger appoints new finance director
Vanessa Simms has been appointed as the finance director of Grainger, the residential property owner confirmed on Tuesday.

Simms, who has held the role of deputy chief financial officer at FTSE 250 group Unite since 2012, will step into her new role in the early spring of 2016, the company said in a statement, adding she will replace Mark Greenwood.
Greenwood is set to retire at the end of 2015, while David Smith will be appointed as interim finance director until Simms takes over.
"Vanessa brings strong and relevant PLC and real estate experience to Grainger, having held a number of senior finance roles in the industry, whilst having a proven track record of successfully implementing strategic and financial programmes,” said group chairman Baroness Ford.
Grainger shares were down 1.24% to 238.10p at 0811 BST on Tuesday.
