IAG traffic and load factor rise in September
British Airways and Iberia parent International Consolidated Airlines Group said group passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometres, was up 13.9% from last year in September to 21.4m.

The load factor meanwhile, which measures how full the planes were, was up 0.2 percentage point to 84.7% from 84.5%.
Group capacity, measured in available seat kilometres, rose 13.7% to 25.2m available seat kilometres.
In September, Vueling announced that it will set up a new operation base at Paris Charles de Gaulle in May of next year. The airline will operate eight new routes from the airport to Copenhagen, Prague, Venice, Vienna, Naples, Bari, Fuerteventura and Tangier.
Vueling has already set up bases in Barcelona and Rome-Fiumicino.
At 1540 BST, IAG shares were up 2% at 582.50p.
