The Office of the Insurance Commissioner for the CDI on 29 May issued a legal writ requesting documents relating to the bioavailability or bio-equivalency of Suboxone film and manufacturing records for the product and its components.
The subpoena also requested any information related to the potential to develop dependency on Suboxone Film.
"Indivior intends to comply with the CDI's subpoena and will cooperate in any related government inquiry. Further updates related to this inquiry will be made as appropriate."
CDI has reached multi-million-dollar settlements with several drug companies in recent years over health insurance reimbursement cases.
