The FTSE 250 firm said Harrison is joining from WANdisco - a Silicon Valley-based, London-listed software company - where he has been chief financial officer since 2013.
Prior to WANdisco, Harrison was group finance director at FTSE 100 software company The Sage Group for 13 years, and held a number of senior positions at the then-Price Waterhouse.
He is also a non-executive director at recruitment consultancy Hays and media company Ascential.
Wroe joined Just Eat in August 2008, with the company’s board describing him as an “instrumental” part of the executive team that has engineered Just Eat’s growth to lead 12 of the 12 markets it serves.
He also played a crucial role in Just Eat’s successful IPO in April 2014, as well as its strong performance since then.
It’s understood Wroe will remain in the business until 31 December 2016, and will be available through the first half of 2017 to support Harrison through the transition to ensure a smooth succession.
“I would like to thank Mike for the outstanding job he has done as CFO of Just Eat since 2008,” said chief executive David Buttress.
“In that time, Just Eat has grown from a small private company with a big vision, to a large public business with even greater ambitions.
“He has been a trusted colleague and friend throughout, expertly marshalling Just Eat through our IPO and our very strong performance since,” he added.
Buttress also said he is please that Harrison will be joining the Just Eat team later this year.
“He has an exceptional track record of delivering results at both high growth and large public technology companies.
“Just Eat is the market leader in our sector and Paul's experience will prove invaluable as we continue to build on this platform and reach new heights in the coming years,” Buttress explained.
