Raspberry Pi strikes strategic partnership with Italy's SECO
Single-board computer designer Raspberry Pi has inked a strategic partnership with Italian internet-of-things solutions business SECO ahead of the launch of its Compute Module 5 product.
Raspberry Pi said the partnership will see SECO bring to market a new human-machine interface solution based on CM5, highlighting further progress in the company's direct to OEM strategy.
The London-listed firm also said the agreement was aimed at expanding the business opportunities for both companies through collaboration on hardware and software development.
"This partnership combines SECO's expertise in IoT technologies with Raspberry Pi's versatile computing solutions, allowing both companies to address the growing demands of industrial applications through innovative, customised products," said RPI.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
As of 1010 GMT, Raspberry Pi shares were up 0.36% at 331.20p.
