In the eight weeks ended 10 May 2020 the group secured 1,351 gross private sales reservations, with a total of 1,300 legal completions being made in the same period. Cancellation levels remain in line with historic trends, Persimmon said on Thursday.
Persimmon last month started a phased return to construction, and said the process continued to progress to plan with 65% of production capacity restored during the week beginning May 4.
The government has eased restrictions on house builders in an attempt to get the domestic economy moving, but there has been a dispute with the Scottish government over the pace of a return to work.
"All sales offices and show homes will reopen with strict new social distancing and additional hygiene measures in place, which are fully compliant with the latest UK Government guidance. Initially, sales consultations will be on a pre-booked appointment basis only," Persimmon said in a statement.
