SSE appoints Helen Mahy as non-exec director
Energy supplier SSE has appointed Helen Mahy CBE as a non-executive director.

Mahy, who will join the board of SEE on 1 March next year, is chair of The Renewables Infrastructure Group and is also a non-executive director of SVG Capital, Bonheur ASA /Ganger Rolf ASA and Stagecoach. Previously, she was group company secretary and general counsel of National Grid.
Chairman Richard Gillingwater CBE said: "I am very pleased that Helen will be joining the board, because she will bring depth of knowledge from her career in the energy industry and breadth of outlook from the work she now does with a range of other organisations.”
At 1110 BST, SSE shares were up 0.7% at 1,548p.
