Third arrest made in connection with TalkTalk cyber attack
British police have made a third arrest in connection with the cyber attack against TalkTalk carried out last month.
According to a statement released by the police, a 20-year-old male from Stafforshire had been taken into custody and his address has been searched.
It comes after two teenagers were earlier this week arrested in connection with the attack. One was a 16-year-old boy from west London and a 15-year-old boy from Northern Ireland. Both have been released on bail.
It was also announced this weekend that close to 2,000 Vodafone customers are thought to be at risk of fraud after it was discovered that their personal details have been accessed.
The telecoms giant said criminals had attempted to access some of its UK customers' account details between midnight on Wednesday 28th October and midday on Thursday 29th October.
It confirmed that no credit or debit card numbers or details were obtained.
