Vietnam Enterprise Investments to list in London
Irish-listed Vietnam Enterprise Investments announced on Monday it was seeking to list on the London Stock Exchange.
The news came after the company merged with Vietnam Growth Fund on 31 December, with the board saying the decision was made after considering how its structure might be enhanced and modernised further.
It said it identified transparency and liquidity as a primary concern of shareholders.
"Against this background, the board considers that an application for a listing of the shares of the company on the main market of the London Stock Exchange would be the best approach to address these key concerns," the board said in a statement.
Vietnam Enterprise said it would maintain its listing on the Irish Stock Exchange for the time being, but it was envisaged that it would delist from there in due coursse if the admission to trading in London was approved.
