Wizz Air passenger numbers soar as bases expand to 26
Wizz Air Holdings, the low cost airline focused on Central and Eastern European, transported 18.2% more passengers in October than the previous month as it extends its reach to more countries.

Passenger numbers went up to 2m compared to 1.7m in October last year. Revenue passenger kilometres rose 21.3% to 3.2m.
The airline plans to open a new base in Chisinau in Moldova in March 2017, taking the number of bases up to 26.
It has embarked on 12 new routes, nine to and from Poland, two from Moldova and one each for Ukraine and Santander in Spain, the airline's 130th airport. It will also have a seventh new aircraft in Warsaw from June 2017.
Seat capacity climbed 15.9% to 2.3m and available seat kilometers rose 18.9% to 3.6m. Load factor rose 1.8 percentage points to 90% during the month.
The share price went up 1.18% to 1,549p at 900 GMT on Thursday.
