Wizz Air traffic up 22% in February; new CFO announced
Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air carried 1.41m passengers in February, up 21.7% on the same month last year.

Meanwhile, the load factor – which gauges how many seats were actually taken up on flights – rose to 86.4% from 83.7%.
On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers were up 21.5% from the same period last year to 19.7m and the load factor grew to 88.2% from 86.6%.
Also on Wednesday, Wizz Air announced the appointment of Sonia Jerez Burdeus as chief financial officer with effect from 1 June.
Jerez joins Wizz from Vueling Airlines, a member of the International Consolidated Airlines Group, where she has been the CFO and a Vueling board member since 2011.
She was also a member of the founding management team of Clickair and was its CFO from 2006 to 2008 when it merged with Vueling.
At 1014 GMT, Wizz Air shares were up 1.1% to 1,894p.
