FTSE 100 movers: Ocado boosted by upgrade; Spirax-Sarco falls
London’s FTSE 100 was up 1.6% at 7,611.28 in afternoon trade on Tuesday.
Online supermarket Ocado was the standout gainer on the index after an upgrade to ‘outperform’ at Bernstein.
Heavily-weighted mining stocks were on the rise, with Anglo American and Antofagasta both higher.
Financials were also doing well, with Barclays and NatWest in the black.
Spirax-Sarco was under the cosh, however, as JPMorgan Cazenove cut its price target on the overweight-rated shares to 11,100p from 11,500p.
