FTSE 250 movers: Housebuilders ride the Persimmon wave

Housebuilders were in focus after an upbeat earnings outlook from FTSE 100 peer Persimmon, with Crest Nicholson, Redrow, Bellway and Vistry all boosted by the sentiment.

Persimmon posted a slump in first-quarter completions but said it expects full-year 2023 volumes to be towards the top end of guidance following an improvement in sales rates since the start of the year.
