Founded in 1992, the company employs around 80,000 people and is among the top steel producers in the world based on crude steel production of 13.5m tones in 2016. Its main activities include the manufacture of steel and steel products, iron ore mining and enrichment, coal mining, the manufacture of vanadium products and trading operations and logistics.
