European shares hit a fresh record high on Wednesday as investors digested data from the US and UK, despite a larger-than-expected fall in eurozone industrial production, while Zalando shares surged after upgrading forecasts.
South America-focused miner Hochschild reported a 10% fall in production, although in line with guidance, offset by rising prices and the devaluation of the Argentinian peso which helped to lift adjusted core earnings.
