Caracal was established to acquire and develop under exploited gold mining opportunities in East Africa, with the medium-term goal of producing circa 50,000 ounces of gold per annum with a resource in excess of 2 million ounces. To this end, it is currently focused on the optimization of its existing producing asset, the Kilimapesa Mine in Kenya, where it aims to produce +25,000 oz gold per annum and build the current JORC Resource to in excess of 2 million ounces.
