Audioboom said on Monday that NZME, the country's leading radio and digital media company, will monetise its 8,000 content channels in Showcase, its ad-tech-based product, in its role as the exclusive advertising representative for New Zealand-based brands and buyers.
In December 2021, Showcase contributed more than $1.0m in revenues to the group and in 2022, the company expects to make more than 3.0bn advertising impressions available to buyers within Showcase.
The AIM-listed firm added that the partnership, which it expects to enable "more efficient monetisation" of content in the region, highlighted Audioboom's "continued global growth", as well as the increased demand from brands for targeted advertising options.
Chief executive Stuart Last said: "NZME provide the expertise to further maximise the value of content for our creators, while supporting our goals of efficient global expansion. New Zealand is an important territory for us, and I am excited to create new opportunities for brands to work with our creative talent and high-quality shows."
As of 1020 GMT, Audioboom shares were down 6.54% at 1,687.0p.
