Manx Telecom's Goshawk technology set for summer launch
Manx Telecom's subsidiary Goshawk Communications will launch its Audacious brand mobile phone proposition in the UK this summer with BT's EE network, the company said on Wednesday.

Manx Telecom said Goshawk, which is part of the company's international growth vehicle Vannin Ventures, is focused on building industry relationships and the organisation's capability, before enacting plans to build consumer awareness of the hearing enhancement product nearer to launch, with the product on course to be made available in the UK .
Rob Shardlow, chief executive of Goshawk, said: "I am proud to announce 'Audacious' as our brand name, in the UK. It captures, powerfully, the ambition that we have to improve peoples' lives and the confidence we have that this will be possible."
The AIM-listed company said that Audacious will be supported by a "vibrant brand identity".
Meanwhile, Goshawk founder Matthew Turner is concentrating on the strategic development and global scaling of the proposition and has secured three technology award nominations and two speaker slots at Mobile World Congress later this month, which the company hopes will raise the profile of the technology within the global mobile network operator community.
Group CEO Gary Lamb said: "This marks another important step in the development of our plan to commercialise and scale the innovative and valuable Goshawk technology."
Manx Telecom's shares were up 2.98% at 173.00p at 1021 GMT.
