Indivior tumbles as Reckitt Benckiser makes £1bn claim

Indivior shares tumbled on Friday after the opioid addiction treatment maker said it had been made aware of a £1.07bn claim against it by consumer goods company Reckitt Benckiser.

Indivior, which was spun off from Reckitt in 2014, said the claim related to an indemnity contained in the demerger agreement they entered into then.
"The claim has not been served on the company and the company does not have any further details at this time," it said. "The company will assess with its advisors the background and merits to the case and will provide an update in due course."
At 1205 GMT, shares of Indivior, which makes opioid addiction treatment Suboxone, were down 44% at 69.96p.
