Informa revenues to top expectations
Full-year numbers at Informa are set to come in ahead of expectations, the academic publisher and events specialist said on Thursday, following strong performances across the business.

Updating on full-year trading, the blue chip forecast 2022 revenues of more than £2.38bn, with adjusted operating profits over £530m and free cash flow of at least £440m.
In November, Informa had guided for full-year revenues of between £2.3bn and £2.35bn, and adjusted operating profits of between £490m and £505m.
The firm said it had benefited from "consistent strength" in academic markets, while its business-to-business arm had seen "growth and momentum" in both live and on-demand events.
Looking to the current year, the company acknowledged that "uncertainties prevail", and said it would it would monitor the macro and geopolitical backdrop.
But Stephen Carter, chief executive, added: "Informa finished 2022 strongly, and has entered 2023 with continuing momentum.
"Strong performances in both academic and B2B markets, combined with our strengthened balance sheet, mean Informa will deliver further strong underlying growth, continuing organic investment and additional targeted expansion, alongside enhanced shareholder returns."
Informa is due to publish 2022 full-year results on 9 March.
